Overview

Summary/Purpose:

The Programmer / Analyst is responsible for planning, developing and maintaining critical business applications for internal customers.  The candidates must enjoy challenges and demonstrate initiative to solve tough problems and produce results.  We are looking for someone responsible for doing development of software components using .Net technologies in multiple layers including the user interface, business domain and data access. 

 

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Develop and support mission critical applications integrating Office 365 and Epicor 10 ERP
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and launch new applications and work flows
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver completed products and suggest alternate solutions
  • Incorporate and develop industry standards and best practices
  • Research new applications and solutions to address needs and issues

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Programmer / Analyst has no personnel supervisory responsibilities, but (s)he has direct responsibility of short/long term projects and their strategic objectives.

 

Travel:

The Programmer / Analyst must be flexible for company funded travel during 0-5% of her/his typical work week. 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to provide valid proof of identity and valid United States work authorization documentation
  • Ability to successfully complete a company-paid drug test and pre-employment baseline physical
  • Hearing, color vision, and the ability to push at least 10 pounds and lift at least 10 pounds
  • Hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate office equipment
  • Written and verbal communication skills in the English language, including ability to communicate with C-level executives
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, organization, and the ability to process confidential information
  • An understanding of object-oriented analysis and design required
  • Strong understanding of relational databases is highly desired
  • Knowledge of Epicor 10 ERP software highly desired
  • User Interface design experience highly desired

Required Education, Experience, and Licensing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field required.
  • 2+ Years .Net / C# development required.
  • 2+ Years Office 365 / SharePoint development required.
  • 2+ Years of web development technology is highly desirable, preferably using JavaScript
